Stella Retreats was founded in 2021 by Jarrett Chouinard, who grew up traveling with family and always noticed the difference between an ordinary stay and an exceptional one. That instinct, an eye for what elevates a place beyond the expected, became the foundation of the company. Before it was a business, it was a belief: that a home, even a temporary one, deserves the same attention and taste as anywhere else you'd choose to spend your time.

We began by managing homes directly, learning firsthand what separates an ordinary stay from an exceptional one. That instinct, shaped in part by a family lineage of visual artistry and craftsmanship, has guided every property we've added since.

Today, we are a full-service hospitality company overseeing an evolving collection of exceptional homes across the Northeast. We have hosted weddings by the water, family reunions, and retreats, always with the same intention: that the people gathering can be fully present for the occasion, while we handle everything else.

We treat every home, and every homeowner, exactly as we would want to be treated ourselves. It's a standard we hold no matter how large we grow, and we intend to grow considerably, bringing this same philosophy to new markets in the years ahead.
